Bikram yoga is also known as hot yoga.This type of yoga was developed by Bikram Choudhury. It is a twenty-six asana series designed to stretch muscles, tendons and ligaments in the order in which they should be stretched. It is performed in a hot room maintained at a temperature around 90-100 degree Fahrenheit. The yoga poses are combined with pranayama to systematically move muscles and provide oxygen rich blood to all parts of your body. This restores all systemsto healthy working order, just as Nature intended.
